David Claman, MD has been a member of the our Division since 1994.
He attends on both Puflmonary and Critical Care. Dr. Claman is the
Director of the UCSF Sleep Disorders Center, which involves clinical
consultation, interpretation of sleep studies, and treatment of
the broad range of sleep disorders. Additional clinical interests
include asthma, tuberculosis, and non-invasive ventilation.
Dr. Claman completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF, and
a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCSF. His
formal training in Sleep Medicine was performed at Stanford University
and at Sequoia Hospital, and he is Board Certified in all these
disciplines.
Research Interests Current research interests include
diagnostic approaches to upper airway resistance syndrome, and non-invasive
