UCSF Pulmonary & Critical Care Knowledge Base    Welcome! The Knowledge Base was created to aggregate resources that would be useful to all members of the Pulmonary & Critical Care division at UCSF. It is a central repository for high-quality work produced by Fellows and Faculty in the Division, and is accessible to UCSF personnel anywhere.

The Pulmonary Knowledge Base (Case Presentations)
The Pulmonary Knowledge Base (Case Presentations) are a collection of handouts that have been created by Fellows in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine during their first year of fellowship training. Most of these handouts were created for presentation at the weekly Tri-Hospital Conference, and summarize the Fellow's review of the condition, from pathophysiology to treatment. Each handout is referenced to the most current literature on the subject.
Note that these articles have not been peer-reviewed, and are only to be used as an educational resource. All information should be corroborated by peer-reviewed resources before being used to make medical decisions
.

The Critical Care Journal Archive
The Critical Care Journal Archive is a collection of recent reviews and important original investigations in Critical Care Medicine. All of these citations are linked directly to the PubMed abstract. The impetus for the creation of the archive was to create an electronic version of the Critical Care syllabus used for the 5E/5R MICU rotation at San Francisco General Hospital.

Obtaining full access to the Knowledge Base
