William McKleroy, MD and Aartik Sarma, MD developed the UCSF COVID-19 Global Clinical Knowledge Base
The goal of the site is to provide a comprehensive but curated directory of publicly-available practice guidelines, clinical protocols, and other resources related to COVID-19. This resource will encourage clinicians and medical organizations to share knowledge and compare practices with peers.The current iteration of the site was built by UCSF Web Services, is hosted on UCSF’s popular and heavily-trafficked COVID-19 Infection Control website, and is edited by Dr. William McKleroy. An insightful prototype of the searchable database was developed by an eager volunteer group of MIT undergrads recruited by Dr. Aartik Sarma.
